Download and Install Android Play Store on Amazon Kindle Fire– Step by Step Guide

Right after the day Kindly Fire launched, it gained popularity like a fire in jungle due to its low price and high functionality. Unlike its ancestor, it can easily compete with all the like devices in market like Apple’s iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab. Apart from its so many amazing features, the only drawback is that Amazon don’t allow the Kindle Fire user to use Android market and also blocked the constants which were previously allowed. However, it was not possible that we leave you all alone in this  situation so here we are with a detailed guide on enabling the Android Play Store on Amazon Kindle Fire. Just follow these simple steps and start downloading the games, applications and a lot more.

Important Note: You need a rooted device here to follow this guide. If you don’t have one, then root before proceeding to the STEP 1.

STEP 1: These APK files will play the most crucial role in this guide. So download these and save in a separate folder in your computer.

  • GoogleServicesFramework.apk
  • Vending.apk (Latest Version 3.3.11)
  • Download these files from here

STEP 2: Let’s do some important settings before moving ahead.

  • Select “Device” in the setting menu. You will get a new list. Simply turn on the “Allow Installation of Application From Unknown Sources”.
  • Now get your hands to apk file and install the root explorer application.

STEP 3: Now extract the downloaded files in STEP 1 and move to a specific folder in Kindle Fire using the USB cable.

STEP 4: Run the “Root Explorer App” and access the folder in which you just copied the extracted files and install GoogleServicesFramework.apk.

STEP 5: Step back in extracted folder and click a little long on Vending.apk until you get couple of options, choose “Move”. Go to /system/app. Change mount option to RO to RW and simply paste the apk file here.

STEP 6: Simply click a little long on Vending.apk once again and this time change the permission to RW-R–R–.  Once done, just install it.

STEP 7: It’s time to reboot Kindle Fire.

You are done, but Android Play store will not be displayed like other applications. You have to install Go Launcher or ADW Launcher to access it. Just sign in using your Google account and start enjoying the games and application in Android Play Store
