Samsung Galaxy 3 Features: Direct Call, Smart Stay and S Voice

More details of the Samsung Galaxy S III features has been finally unveiled. There has been a lot of hype about it, circulating around the blogs, especially about the features and specifications of the new Samsung Galaxy S III. If you were amongst those thousands of people waiting anxiously for this latest version, then know that it is a cool device with awesome innovative features.

This latest piece from Samsung sports a 4.8-inch 720p super AMOLED display with 8MP rear camera. It also carries a front camera of 1.9MP with face recognition feature. It also comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, as promised.

To give a competition to iPhone 4S Siri application, Samsung Galaxy S III comes with S Voice that identifies your voice, listens and responds to your voice just like the Siri application of iPhone 4S does. Although it does not completely do the same work as Siri as it responds to only few of your commands such as switch the camera on, call someone, Google search something, etc.

Apart from the S Voice application, the other best features about the Galaxy S III are the Smart Stay and the Direct call feature. The Smart Stay feature is an awesome application that will make you recognize that you are actively looking at the phone screen and using it. If you are using the phone, then it will stay on and if you aren’t looking at the phone screen then the camera detects it and the screen would turn off automatically.

Another smart application included in Galaxy S III is the Direct call feature. If you are in the middle of sending a text message and later decide on calling the person then all that you need to do is get the phone towards your face or ear and the call will be dialed automatically.

Let us wait and watch whether it conquers the market just like the previous Galaxy phones!
