Just a correction:
I have the Android 4.0 ROM running on my Galaxy S Vibrant, and ‘swiping’ the apps off the carousel screen does not ‘force close’ the apps; it merely makes it easier to navigate through your carousel when you are switching between frequently used apps. To see that it has not been ‘forced closed’ you can go to ‘system settings’ –> ‘apps’ –> ‘whichever app you were previously running’, and see that the os still gives you a choice to manually ‘force close’ the program – even if you had ‘swiped’ it away from view in your carousel screen!
I wanted to know if there was some ‘trick’ I could use to make the carousel actually ‘force close’ the apps, but I guess it would have to be a mod. Thanks for the tips and tricks though, I just wish you had some that I could actually take advantage of (I don’t download hordes of games and unnecessary things) because visual speed and flicking do not really impede my typical style of phone use.
